Energize Denver Energy Audit Rebate 2026
Program Process
Before you begin, please make sure you have the following documents on hand:
• IRS W9 for whomever is claiming the rebate incentive. (Required)
• Building ID number and building square footage identified for the building from the Energize Denver Performance Requirements Lookup Tool.
• Building owner's name and contact information (and permission to submit this application on their behalf if the applicant is not the building owner).
After Pre-Approval, please make sure that you provide the following:
- Copy of the Energy Audit
- Copy of the final invoice for the Energy Audit
Final invoice must list:
- Contractor Business Information
- Name
- Address
- Contact
- Customer Information
- Name
- Address
- Contact
- Details of audit performed, including the address of the audited building
- Total audit cost
- Invoice must be marked as 'paid'
- PDF output of a completed submission to the Denver Audit Rebate Tool
- Copy of other rebates and tax credits used to offset the audit cost
- Additional Documentation (if applicable/requested)
We allow existing audits to be accepted with the following criteria:
- Energy Audit Site Visit was conducted on or after November 17, 2022.
If you are an Equity Priority Building (EPB), you are not eligible for this rebate as you will receive an equivalent energy audit through that program.
All participants must be pre-approved to reserve their rebate.
To claim a rebate, CASR first needs to qualify your rebate application and ensure rebate funds are available. Once CASR informs you that your application has been pre-approved, and funds are available, you can submit final documentation to CASR to claim your rebate
